Andrew Reid's London Marathon Fundraiser for ACT

On the 27th of April, I will be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for Action and Compassion for Tanzania (ACT). I have been on numerous trips with ACT to Tanzania to assist in the delivery of projects in the Mtwara region, so I have first hand experience of the amazing work that ACT do. ACT's Mission

“Relieving poverty in rural Tanzania through education, healthcare and promoting sustainability.”

Since 2016, ACT has worked alongside villages in Mtwara to develop meaningful projects to enrich the lives of hundreds of people.

As of 2023, ACT has decided to focus the majority of its efforts in a small village in Mtwara called Naumbu. Our aim is to ensure that the work we do is as effective and as sustainable as possible and by focusing on a small area over a long period of time, we believe this is achievable and we can make a huge difference for the people of Naumbu.
