Remo Grasso will be running the London Marathon 2025 to raise donations in support of the following three charities:
- Charity 1: Homelink Day Respite Care.
Homelink provides the highest standard of care and support for vulnerable and socially isolated older people with complex needs such as dementia, who are still living at home in Whitton and the surrounding areas of Richmond and Hounslow. They also provide a direct programme of support for carers, who are often in desperate need of support themselves. Since 1997, Homelink's dedicated team of dementia care specialists, nurses, and volunteers have made it possible for older, local people to stay at home for longer, to enjoy the last period of their lives with their loved ones.
- Charity 2: Crossroads Care Richmond & Kingston upon Thames.
For 35 years, Crossroads Care have been providing bespoke, high quality home and community projects and respite services in Richmond and Kingston. Highly trained and experienced care support workers assist people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, who have a wide range of social care needs. Crossroads respects the individuality of carers, aiming to assist them in accessing high-quality services that promote their independence, dignity and safety.
- Charity 3: Integrated Neurological Services (INS).
INS has been working for over 30 years to support adults with neurological conditions and their carers in Hounslow and Richmond. Their multidisciplinary team provides holistic therapy, social and emotional support, tailored to people's individual rehabilitation needs and goals. This may involve professional support, or peer support within the community, so that clients can increase their independence and live well with their condition.
Please consider supporting Remo across the line with your donation!
