KHL offer inclusive and accessible community health services with a focus on lifestyle change, building social connections and developing confidence and skills. Our services are co-designed around our community’s specific health needs. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, supporting them and signposting them into a range of groups, activities and projects.
Who do we support:
- People experiencing isolation
- People experiencing poverty
- People with preventative health and wellbeing concerns
- People living with long-term health conditions
- Young parents and families
- People living in pain
- People experiencing mental health challenges
How do we support:
- Vast timetable of exercise classes, social groups, special interest groups/short courses and support groups, free and accessible to all
- One to one support and health coaching
- Specific health campaigns, such as, blood pressure improvement and helping people to manage persistent pain
- Partnerhsip working, with other organisations to ensure service users receive the correct, and best support
We directly work with around 3,000 people each year with contact either at our central facility or outreach at other centres, schools and outdoor spaces.
