KINGSTON CHURCHES ACTION ON HOMELESSNESS

"Kingston wouldn't be the same without the free service KCAH offers people in homelessness or housing crisis."

About: Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness

Established in 1993, KCAH was formed by a group of churches within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Our departments:

  • Housing Crisis Intervention Centre (HCIS) This team provides free services to local adults who have nowhere to live. One-to-one expert support includes income maximisation and help with finding short-term and we as permanent housing for people. As of 2025, 500 people come to KCAH for help each year.

  • Access Project (supported accommodation) This team places KCAH clients into 55 rooms in HMOs for local landlords for a period of 2 years each. Asset coaches work with those clients to develop their strenghts and work towards independent living thereafter.
