Law Centres go to great lengths to fight for your rights. Help us keep running on!
About us
Law Centres protect people's homes, livelihoods and loved ones. We are a national network of charities that employ lawyers to help local people. We believe that everyone deserves justice, however much money they have.
When your landlord won't sort out the mould in your home, you have rights. When your boss won't pay you for the work that you have done, you have rights. If you have a disability but a public service is not accessible, you have rights.
Law Centres put your rights into action.
Meet our runner
John McGovern of Central England Law Centre is taking on the challenge himself as the network’s nominated runner.
John has worked at the Law Centre for two years as Projects and Learnings Manager. It’s his job to help the Law Centres’ projects meet their aims.
John knows the determination it takes to run a marathon having completed one before. He said if he were to run a marathon again, it would have to be for an important cause—it seems he’s met his match!
As John told us:
“I’m running to raise awareness of the vital work that Law Centres do in shielding people from hardship and making our rights have meaning.”
Your support for John's run will help the Law Centres Network strengthen existing centres and create new ones. Together, we can build a just and equal society where everyone’s rights are protected.
Thank you for your support!
