The principal aim of ME Research UK is to commission and fund high-quality scientific (biomedical) investigation into the causes, consequences and treatment of ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This is a debilitating disease affecting hundreds of thousands in in the UK, and millions globally. And yet, the disease is neither well understood nor, in many cases, properly recognised. Within the UK specifically, ME/CFS receives comparatively little funding compared to other neurological disorders – your support helps change this.
