My Story

I will be running the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton. 

 

My mother was cared for in the late stages of her life by Cynthia Spencer Hospice. They provided not only wonderful care to her, but they also supported our whole family at what was a very difficult time for us all.

 

Marathon day will be the 25th anniversary of her death and I will be running in her memory.


Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care for those affected by life limiting and terminal illnesses.

They provide inpatient care, along with outpatient services, Wellbeing, Hopsice@Home and Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist services. A dedicated team of doctors and nurses working within the hospice and community. Providing support to individuals and their families in our local community when they need it the most.
