My Story

About us

I am training to run the London marathon for the Dudley group NHS charity for the maternity baby loss and bereavement department.

Baby loss and bereavement support provides an invaluable service to so many families at such a difficult time in their lives. 

The team of midwives and support workers give outstanding care to these families helping them come to terms with their loss, arranging funerals and supporting families through subsequent pregnancies. 

My wife is a midwife at Russell's hall hospital and seeing the amazing work they do through her is my inspiration for doing this. 

London marathon has held a special place in my heart since my running journey began. I've always enjoyed watching it on the TV and in person and have taken part once before. This year to increase my fundraising potential I have decided to attempt a Guinness world record and as I'm a father of two young girls the world record for the fastest mythical creature/unicorn seems like a record I'm perfectly suited for.
