Running for Gramps: My Journey to the TCS London Marathon 2025

Hello, friends and supporters,

I am excited and honored to share that I will be running the TCS London Marathon 2025 in memory of my beloved Gramps. This marathon is not just a race for me; it's a deeply personal journey to honour his memory and to raise awareness and funds for Dementia UK, a cause that is close to my heart.

Gramps faced his battle with dementia with incredible strength and resilience, but watching him fade away was one of the hardest experiences of my life. The night before my wedding, as I was preparing for one of the happiest days of my life, I received the heart-wrenching news that he had passed away. His absence was deeply felt, and it remains a poignant reminder of how devastating dementia can be for families.

Dementia UK provides vital support and care for families affected by dementia, offering hope and comfort during incredibly challenging times. By running this marathon, I aim to contribute to their mission and ensure that more families receive the help they need.
