My Story
My son Che was diagnosed with Autism and global developmental disorder at 2 years old. Myself and my partner Natalie did not know much about autism and what that meant for our sons future so we have spent the past 4 years trying to understanding and navigate the world of autism to enable us to provide the best help possible for him.
With the help of charities like The national Autistic society and other local charities, councils, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, this has allowed us to help Che to give him the best chances in life.
Running the London marathon is a great way to raise awareness for a disability that not many people understand but through this will hopefully allow people to look into autism and try and have a better understanding of what it is and the day to day challenges kids/adults like Che deal with.
