My Story

I'm running the London Marathon on April 27th to raise money for Big Issue. I haven't run a marathon for eight years. During that time I've had a child and turned 50 (and 51).

I'm very tired. My legs are sore. I pulled a hamstring running in the hail in February. My nipple was bleeding a couple of weeks ago. There has been further chafing. 

I've been working for Big Issue as a freelance and staff since 2012. And I've seen the incredible difference they make to the lives of people experiencing homelessness or insecure housing. Times are hard. And the Big Issue is needed more than ever.

If you're able to contribute, the money will be well used. And I'll be super grateful. And I promise not to talk about running too much when I next see you after this is all over...
