My Story

Right now, over 300,000 people in the UK are homeless. While blocks of flats bought with hoarded wealth remain vacant, the housing crisis remains a national emergency, displacing millions of people and leaving hundreds of thousands of children without a place to call home.

Shelter is a vital charity that campaigns for housing justice from the community level all the way to the top. It provides legal and practical advice for those being threatened with homelessness; conducts research into the root causes of the housing crisis; and amplifies the voices of those affected by homelessness.

For these reasons, I’ll be doing a few things this year to fundraise for Shelter:

  1. Running the London Marathon
  2. Running the Hackney Half Marathon
  3. Completing a 24-hour live-streamed DJ mix with some pals
