My Story
I am going to run the London Marathon 4 times in 24 hours, the final Marathon being the official London Marathon. That's 104.8 miles on April 27th. Ouch.
In 2011 my Dad passed away from Multiple Sclerosis, he was an amazing Dad and all round top guy. I still miss him every day.
MS UK is nationwide charity based in Colchester, near where Mum and Dad lived. MS UK is a charity whose mission is to help manage the physical and emotional impacts of living with Multiple Sclerosis. They do amazing work helping those living with MS and supporting their families. They are a small charity so every pound raised has a real and meaningful impact.
I will be running 4 marathons (did I mention that's 104.8 miles?!?) in memory of my old man and to help those living with MS.
These vital funds will help to continue the amazing services provided by MS-UK. These include: a national helpline providing one to one support to thousands of people every year, an inspirational magazine helping people stay up to date with the latest lifestyle, diet and well-being news plus an extensive range of online exercise classes, well-being activities, information sessions and support groups to help people stay active and connected.
By donating to my page you are helping MS-UK in their fight to raise awareness and provide support where it is needed most.
Together we can make sure that no one must face MS alone
Thanks
Alex
