My Story

On April 27th 2025 I'lI be running the London Marathon for Samaritans whilst carrying a 24.7kg "bag of worries" on my shoulders.

The weight on my shoulders represents the struggles and burdens so many of us carry in silence, and the 24.7kg is a reminder that Samaritans are there 24/7 to support anyone who’s struggling.

I'm doing it because I’ve carried my own invisible loads: drug addiction, infertility, burnout, depression. I know how heavy life can get when you feel alone and Samaritans is a charity close to my heart—I’m proud to volunteer with the incredible team at Bexley and Dartford 💚

Running for Samaritans is my way of giving back and helping ensure no one carries life’s weight alone and there is always someone there for them 24/7.
