My Story

About me

Hi, I’m Axel Korth, and I’m excited to be running the 2025 London Marathon to support Southgate Sports and Leisure Trust. This local charity plays a crucial role in promoting community health and providing accessible sports and leisure facilities for hockey, football and rugby players as well as runners of all ages.

Twenty years after my first (and only) marathon in Hamburg, I aim to raise vital funds to help the Trust continue its incredible work whether it’s giving children access to sports programs, supporting mental health through fitness, or maintaining community spaces. As the cost of maintaining the facilities exceed the income, every donation makes a difference!
