My Story

I am running the London Marathon for Nightingale House in memory of my Mum Janet Clark, who passed away at Nightingale on 28/02/24.
The care and support we received was beyond amazing and to be able to give back to the hospice is something I am proud to do. The relief we felt when we moved from the hospital to the hospice for mum’s remaining days was immeasurable- the sense of peace it provided to my mum is something I will be eternally grateful for. 
The dedication of everyone at Nightingale and the care they provide is beyond amazing and I hope to raise as much as I can so they can continue to offer the same for many others.

Running the marathon is a great focus for me as I come to terms with the sudden and unexpected loss of mum. I am so dedicated to making the race and the fundraising a success to honour my mum, who was a wonderful kind and caring person.
