Bobby & Kaye London Marathon 2025
My Story
About us
Kaye and Bobby are running the London Marathon to raise money for Saint Francis Hospice in memory of Carla Leonard and Sara Mack, who both spent the final weeks of their lives being cared for and looked after in the hospice. Saint Francis Hospice is a local charity that provides care for local people who have been diagnosed with a serious illness and sadly for those like Carla and Sara who required care towards the end of their life.
The love, compassion and professional care that both Carla and Sara received at the hospice was incredible where they received around the clock care at their time of need. Saint Francis Hospice also supports loved ones and families for everyone under their care and they also provide on-going support to those left behind.
As Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity, there is no cost for anyone who needs their services, nor to their carers. However, to provide this dedicated and expert care, the hospice needs to raise over £8 million each year because only 28% of their costs are paid by the government.
Kaye and Bobby want to raise as much money as possible for such an amazing charity, but they also want to raise awareness to the care and support that Saint Francis has given to thousands of local families for the past 40 years. Thank you for looking at our page and thank you for any donation, no matter how large or small towards a great cause.
