My Story
I am proud to be running the 2025 TCS London Marathon with Young Lives vs Cancer to ensure no child faces cancer alone.
I will be taking part alongside three of my oldest friends Kit, Connor, and Callum. Any support will be greatly appreciated by us all!
I have also connected my Strava account so that my 20-week training plan, from now until April, will be shown on this page.
By sponsoring me, your contribution will make a huge difference to the lives of children and young people with cancer. Whether you donate £5 or £500 you will be making a big impact. Thank you for your support.
Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them. We'll face it all together - but we can't do it without you.
Lastly, a good paragraph from Kit's fundraising page that I think summarises our motivation well:
"My time with cancer was incredibly easy in comparison to most. I didn't need chemo, I didn't have it for long and I was incredibly lucky. For most it is not that simple, and that is why I want to raise awareness and money. At a young age you should not feel like you're unsure on whether you're going to grow old with your friends, you shouldn't feel like you're going to miss your best friends weddings, or seeing your niece grow up. I lived this for not even a year, a lot of people affected by cancer live it for years and don't get as lucky as I did."
