My Story

On two separate occassions I've relied on Stars Appeal to support my wife and I during periods of extreme stress with the premature birth of both our sons, Noah and Alfie, born 31 and 29 weeks respectively.

Stars Appeal supplied us with beds, showers and food/kitchen appliances to enable us to remain close to both children during their early weeks as they were incubated in Salisbury NICU ward. Without their support and generosity we wouldn't have been able to stay with our children during their most vulnerable weeks post-birth.

Running the London Marathon has always been a dream for me having tried and failed on at least 15 occassions through the Ballot. It's actually a bit of a nightmare to have been successful through work this year as I've been off running with a serious achilles injury for several months. However, I'm confident that with the right level of support, training and donations to this very worthy cause, I'll get over the line in one piece (albeit maybe not with a PB).
