My Story
I’m thrilled to be running the London Marathon this year in support of the John Muir Trust, a charity dedicated to protecting and enhancing wild places across the UK. 🌍
As someone who works in the construction industry, I see firsthand the impact our work can have on the environment. That’s why it’s so important to me to give back and support efforts to preserve and restore our natural landscapes. The John Muir Trust works tirelessly to conserve some of the most beautiful and remote landscapes, ensuring they remain wild and free for future generations. From the majestic peaks of Ben Nevis to the serene shores of Sandwood Bay, their efforts help preserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of these incredible places.
But they can’t do it alone. That’s where we come in! By supporting my marathon run, you’ll be contributing to vital conservation projects, habitat restoration, and environmental education programs that inspire people of all ages to connect with nature.

The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.
Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.
