My Story

KCDC is an incredible charity that helps children with disabilities in western Uganda.

The children often face substantial barriers to quality education, healthcare, and social inclusion, exacerbated by stigma and poverty. To address these challenges, KCDC empowers children and their families by providing essential life skills and assistive technology and facilitating access to inclusive education. Through community-based rehabilitation and targeted teacher professional development, KCDC break down these barriers, fostering an environment where children with disabilities can thrive.
