My Story

The London Marathon – a vibrant, inspiring spectacle – has been lighting up the sporting world since its first race on March 29, 1981. A true celebration of fun, fundraising, and fantastic costumes.

I last ran the Marathon 21 years ago, and it took me 20 years to forget the pain – but I’ll always remember the incredible support and the sheer joy of crossing that finish line.

Last year, West London Action for Children was the chosen charity for my kids' school, voted for by the children. This incredible charity is dedicated to supporting children and their families, creating lasting positive change through tailored care and guidance.

Their mission is to help children overcome challenges like domestic violence, loss, divorce, bullying, mental health struggles, and so much more. They offer a lifeline to those who need it most – giving vulnerable children the tools to rebuild and thrive.

These children need our help more than ever to ensure they get the counseling and support they deserve.

So, please, dig deep and donate generously as I run these miles in support of such an important cause!
