My Story
I’m excited to announce that I’m officially training to run the London Marathon in 2025! This will be my first-ever marathon, and, in fact, my first long-distance running event. I’m doing this to prove to myself—and to others—that dyslexics are some of the most resilient and hard-working people out there. We face challenges, but we push through, put in the effort, and show that nothing is impossible with dedication.
Since my first run in July, I’ve been steadily increasing my training, preparing myself for the big day 🏃♂️. Along the way, I’m raising funds for the British Dyslexia Association, whose work supporting the community is truly remarkable. Your donations will go a long way toward funding community hubs, providing resources, running the helpline, and much more.
I’d love for you to share this page with your friends, family, and anyone who might want to support this cause. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a huge difference—from £2 to £2,000. If you’re wondering how much to donate, here are a few examples of how your support can help:
- £10: Funds a phone call to provide support strategies for an adult facing literacy challenges.
- £55: Supports up to six families seeking advice on how to work with schools to help their children.
- £72: Funds a live Q&A session on social media, allowing us to reach even more people.
- £160: Trains four new volunteers to join our helpline team.
Thank you so much for your support, and I can’t wait to keep you updated on my progress!
