My Story

Hi, I'm Ciara, and this year I’m taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon, but it’s not just about crossing the finish line. I’m running for PACT (Parents and Children Together), an incredible charity that supports adoption and trauma recovery.

This cause means so much to me as I spent my early years as a child in care before I was then adopted at the age of 5. My experiences have shaped who I am today and adoption has transformed my life and I am so excited to be able to give back by supporting a charity that will help other children. 

PACT is an adoption charity and family support provider helping hundreds of families every year through outstanding adoption and adoption support services. Running the marathon is my way of giving back to a charity that does so much to help children and families. The work PACT does is essential and can make all the difference in the world for a child’s future. Fun fact - PACT  took over from the adoption charity I was with! 

This is where I need your help! I'm aiming to raise £1800 if not more to support PACT’s vital work. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help provide crucial services for children who need it most - just as I did.
