My Story

Hello all!

here we go again! I wasn't expecting to ever get another chance at the marathon, but touching down in Perth for my winter holiday I received an email asking if I was able to take up the challenge.

Yes I can.

I am taking on the TCS London Marathon in 2025 for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. Please help me reach my target of £2,500 and support our Armed Forces community! 

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for the Armed Forces community in their time of need. In 2023 our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 53,000 people, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.

SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person and their family, any time they need us and in any way they need us.

Many of you will know that many members of my family have served in the army, including both my mother and father, my step father, my step brother and my uncle!

This is a great opportunity for me to give something back to a charity that does such great work!
