My Story
My Mother was diagnosed with MS in 1989, so has lived with the disease over 35 years - now half of her life.
Whilst the disease has taken its toll, she has lived and thrived through her own resilience and the love and support of her family.
The MS Society helps to fund research in to this complicated disease and also provide support to those afflicted who may have access to less resources than Mum.
I first ran the London Marathon in 2001 at the sprightly age of 25. Now, this April, only weeks away from my 50th year, I will be attempting completion of the course in a faster time than my original attempt.
