Cormac Ryan
My Story
My name is Cormac Ryan. I am professor of Clinical Rehabilitation at Teesside University and a community pain champion for Flippin Pain. Flippin Pain is a public health campaign which aims to increase public understanding of chronic pain. Chronic pain affects 30-50% of people in the UK and is one of the biggest cuases of disability in the UK. It is also a seriously misunderstood condition. I am running the London Marathon to raise money for Pain Concern - a charity which aims to improve the lives of people with pain and those who care for them. It is a real privilage for me to be able to raise money to support such a good cause and the great work that Pain Concern do. I would be really grateful for any donation that you can afford to give.
