Dan Pheasant - The London Double 2025!
My Story
Every four minutes another young person faces homelessness.
Thousands of young people will be facing homelessness alone this winter. No young person should be left struggling on freezing streets.
I am running the London Marathon to support Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity. They support almost 14,000 young people every year and are campaigning to end youth homelessness by 2037.
In 2022-2023 -135,800 16-24 year olds were homeless or at risk of homelessness in the UK.
It's a privilege to highlight the great work this charity does whilst doing what I love - having ran 2 marathons in the past couple of years in Amsterdam and Venice, I am running the London double in 2025! The London Landmarks Half Marathon (6th April) and The London Marathon (27th April) for Centrepoint - please could I ask for your support in sponsoring me for this fantastic cause
Thanks
Dan
The London Marathon
The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.
Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.
What’s more, these participants have raised over a billion pounds for charity and there have been countless amazing tales of human achievement throughout the event’s history – living up to its aim of helping participants ‘to have fun, and provide some happiness and sense of achievement in a troubled world’.
