My Story

My name is Danielle Gilpin and I have been fortunate enough to secure a ballot entry in the London Marathon. This will be my first marathon and I am excited & nervous in equal measures! I reached out to the local community for suggestions of a local charity that I could support.  Ferne Animal Sanctuary received the most nominations and as a charity for animals, it resonated with me.  I hope that this will get the local community behind me, not only supporting me in completing this challenge but, more importantly, in raising money for this fantastic charity.  I hope to keep you all updated on my training journey, hopefully without boring you all 🤣  Any sponsorship is greatly appreciated, thank you all xx
