My Story

In 2020 at the height of pandemic I was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia, after a bout of sepsis, a trip to HDU and many rounds of chemo I was fit enough to attempt a Stem Cell Transplant.

I was so lucky to not need to need to go to the donor register because I had two younger brothers prepared to be donors (thanks both), Danny turned out to be the closest match and I had the transplant on 15th July 2021.  With this in mind Danny and I want to give someone else the chance of a full recovery by raising money and awareness for Anthony Nolan by running the London Marathon in April 25.

Shortly after becoming my life saving stem cell donor Danny was diaganosed with a brain tumour.  He had his own life saving operation in just January of this year so being able to do this run together to mark our return to hopefully full health is even more special .

We know there are many demands on funds these days and numerous good causes so anything you can give is fine.
