My Story

Two years ago, my little sister's best friend Osian at just 15 was rushed into hospital after developing MICS-C (Multisystem Inflammatory syndrome in children associated with Covid) after which he suffered four heart attacks and he later received a heart transplant on 30 June 2023. We were so grateful when was able to return home in time for Christmas. Whilst Osian was home he brought light back to all of our lives and seemed to be on the mend, I made a joke that I would run London Marathon for him as long as he would come and cheer me on. Osian sadly passed on 19th June 2024, and I made sure my joke would turn to reality, so here I am training for this years marathon. We miss you so much Osian and running for make-a-wish is an honour, putting money to a cause for families to be able to see their babies smile bright one more time gives me great pride. We would do anything for Osian to have one more day of smiles, so please donate every little helps to help families going through similar times we did.

Right now over 63,000 children in the UK are eligible for a wish because they are dealing with the grueling daily reality of life with a critical illness. When it comes to their dreams, they deserve to wish for more than a life defined by their illness. Critical illness brings a child's joy to an abrupt end but Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that grants life-changing wishes, rescuing the magic of childhood even in their toughest times and providing a lifeline for families to spend precious time together. Please donate to my page as I take on the 2025 TCS London Marathon!
