My Story
Why I am running for AfghanAid
Completing the London Classics has been on my list for a long time and I am finally ready to take on my last and most challenging event – the London Marathon.
As with the other events, driving positive change is a major part of it and I am so excited to run for AfghanAid in April 2025!
AfghanAid has been involved in humanitarian development work for over forty years in Afghanistan, supporting men, women and children in regaining their livelihoods and ensuring that human rights can be re-established. Work that is ever more pressing since the fall of Kabul in 2021 and the continued gender apartheid and destruction of women’s rights.
Following the old philosophy of 'A human is a human because of other humans' you can support me to help AfghanAid by donating on this page.
All of your contributions will directly benefit AfghanAid and their work.
How your donation can change a life
