Freddie Amy's Fundraising Page supporting Dementia UK
Freddie Amy
My Story
I’m running the TCS London Marathon because my grandmother, a special person to my family and me, was diagnosed with dementia during the pandemic. Watching her gradually decline has been incredibly tough. It's painful to see someone so important lose parts of themselves to this disease.
Running a marathon has always been a big aspiration of mine, but now it has a much deeper meaning. This run is about raising awareness for Alzheimer’s, hoping to find a cure and prevent others from experiencing the same heartbreak.
If you’d like to support this cause, any donation would be greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against this devastating disease.
Dementia UK supports families affected by dementia through their specialist Admiral Nurses, who provide expert advice and guidance to help families navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one. The charity also works to raise awareness and fund research to improve care and support for those living with dementia.
All pages are being monitored by TCS. Please donate only after 15th September 2024 in accordance with the Fundraising Policy.
