My Story

I am running the London Marathon for the OHMI Trust because I believe everyone should have the chance to learn and enjoy music, regardless of physical limitations.

OHMI’s ground-breaking work makes that vision possible, creating adaptive instruments and providing resources to give an opportunities to those with a physical limitation.

Did you know that every £40 donation could help support a music lesson for a child with a physical impairment.  A £100 donation could enable The OHMI Trust to provide a musical instrument stand for a range of woodwind and brass instruments.

I’m a musician myself, and I work with hundreds of other musicians and music students each year. The idea of making music accessible to everyone, no matter their physical ability, really resonates with me.

I often wonder how many more musicians/music students I might have met over the years if adaptive instruments, like those the OHMI Trust develops, were more widely available.

As an enthusiastic runner too, it’s a privilege to be able to particate in the London Marathon and contribute to such a meaningful cause.

Everyone deservers to fully participate in the joy of music and OHMI makes this happen! Any amount you have to give will help open the doors of music to more people.

Thanks!

Freddie :)
