My Story
This year I will be running my 33rd consecutive London marathon for Rainbow trust. My daughter died aged 14 years in 1987. Family support for children with life threatening illnesses is so important and Rainbow Trust provide this excellent support.
Rainbow Trust support families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness. With an estimated 86,625 children in England with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, thousands of families must face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day-to-day basis. Rainbow Trust Family Support Workers provide a lifeline to these families and children.
Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed.
