Gavin's London Marathon 2025

My Story
Hey, I’ve once again got the amazing opportunity to run London Marathon 2025 for Breast Cancer Now 🎀🎗🎀.
Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing support. They’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future.
It’s been 2 years since we got the news that changed our life’s forever. Lisa got diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) – A very aggressive form of Breast Cancer. She endured 6 months of intravenous chemotherapy, an OP to have the remaining tumour removed, 10 rounds of radiotherapy and a further 6 months of chemo tablets.
As anyone that has went through or watched a loved one go through treatment, it’s the hardest time of your life. We have had amazing support from friends and family over the past 2 years and in April 2024 I had the chance to give something back by running London Marathon 2024 and raised an amazing £5,272 for Breast Cancer Now.
I know times are tough in this current financial climate and so many of you gave so generously last year so any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go to an amazing charity fighting to save people’s lives. Thanks in advance Gavin & (most importantly) Lisa and all those other fighters and their families.
Finally, everyone be kind as you never know what anyone else is going through xxx🎀🎗🎀
