Hi all,
I am going to be running the London Marathon on April 27th.
I will be running for Home-Start Essex, a charity whose mission is to provide children with the best possible start in life. They achieve this by supporting struggling parents and caregivers, providing flexible help - whether that's home visits, emergency meals, well-being services or behaviour support programmes.
The charity offers support in a number of different ways, including sending trained volunteers into parents' homes each week to provide practical and emotional support. The volunteers are often the only people these parents see all week.
Alongside this, they also run family groups for parents and children to build up their own peer networks.
Part of the money raised here will go towards the children's christmas trip to the Pantomime 🎭.
I would be hugely grateful for any donation you can make. Your support will keep me going as I (slowly) trudge around London.
