My Story
Hey everyone,
I can't even begin to explain how much it means to me to be running the London Marathon in support of Youth Sport Trust, a cause so close to my heart. Growing up, sports—especially football—were more than just games to me. They were my escape, my therapy, my safe space. Football gave me confidence when I doubted myself, joy on my hardest days, and friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Without it, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I wouldn’t have had the courage to chase my dreams, play for the Guyanese women’s national team, or even take on a challenge as big as Survivor UK.
That’s why Youth Sport Trust means so much to me. They’re fighting to make sure every child, no matter their background, has the chance to experience the life-changing impact of sports. In a world where so many young people are struggling with anxiety, depression, and feeling like they don’t fit in, this work is more important than ever.
When we support Youth Sport Trust, we’re not just funding sports programs—we’re giving kids a space to grow, to be seen, and to believe in themselves the way I was lucky enough to.
Running this marathon is my way of giving back to the thing that shaped my life, and I’d love for you to be part of this journey with me. Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Thank you for believing in this cause and for supporting me every step of the way. It truly means the world. ❤️🏃🏽♀️💫
