My Story

Sport has been at the forefront of my life for as long as I can remember, and I am truly passionate about the power it holds within society! 

Kinetic uses sport to positively impact the young people of London, tackling real world issues of youth unemployment head on! I am lucky that I am immersed in this organisation on a daily basis, however we can only continue our growth with additional resources.

Here is a little more on Kinetic...

London has low levels of social mobility and high levels of youth unemployment. This is disproportionately affected by one’s social and demographic background leading to barriers to future employment opportunities.

Kinetic is a football and education charity that exists to give young people the opportunities to flourish in their future.

55% of our young people reside in the top 30% most deprived areas of the UK, with 81% coming from underrepresented backgrounds.

We build motivation through engaging football programmes to help young people complete post-16 education, and in doing so reduce the number of people falling out of education, employment and training.

Our programmes are proven to increase student confidence, aspiration, perseverance and wellbeing with our improvements above the national average.

Our programmes show that young people are 39% less likely to become NEET. 

Of these numbers, we have also had 75 young people go on to achieve their dream of professional football.
