My Story

I am running the London Marathon in 2025 in support of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton. 

After dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he visited the Cynthia Spencer Hospice on multiple occasions and the staff were always incredibly accommodating. From looking after dad and making sure he was comfortable, to providing my family with help and advice throughout this time, their support was invaluable! They even allowed my mum to stay with him in the hospice on the occasions when he had to stay for multiple nights. Their help truly was above and beyond. 

Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care for those affected by life limiting and terminal illnesses. The hospice provide inpatient care, along with outpatient services, Wellbeing, Hopsice@Home and Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist services. A dedicated team of doctors and nurses working within the hospice and community. Providing support to individuals and their families in our local community when they need it the most.
