My Story

Well I never thought this would happen and I would be successful securing a place in the 2025 TCS London Marathon in April, with Young Lives vs Cancer …….. 

Back in 2020, as we went in to lockdown, my nephew Tom, at aged 7, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and faced an almighty fight and 3.5 years of long and gruelling treatment. 

I vowed when we returned to ‘normal’ I wanted to raise some money for charity, but most importantly, face a challenge in recognition to Tom, who is an absolute S U P E R S T A R.

Thankfully he is in remission and it is due to charities, like Young Lives vs Cancer.

Any donation, however big or small is very much appreciated and will make a huge difference and certainly motivate me to keep on running ........ 

Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer.
