My Story

I am so excited (?!) to be running the 2025 London Marathon on behalf of The John Muir Trust.

All being well , this will be my 3rd marathon and 2nd ‘major’ marathon.  Since starting my marathon journey (and all round running obsession!) I have wanted to take part in London – surely the most iconic global marathon!

However, whilst pounding the streets of London is sure to be an incredible (and no doubt painful!) experience, most of you who know me well, will know I am at my happiest when exploring and adventuring in wilder settings.  I am therefore fundraising for the John Muir Trust, who look to conserve, protect and repair some of the UK’s most wild and remote places.   The trust look after some of the UK’s most iconic summits (eg Ben Nevis and Schiehallion) and many other incredible places throughout the UK to ensure that the nature there remains unspoilt for future generations.

I would be so incredibly grateful for any donation large or small to allow me to take part in the London Marathon but at the same time help the trust continue their great work.
