My Story

Hello, welcome to my fundraising page for the London Marathon 2025, I will be running this in support of a charity my family holds close to its heart, The Laura Centre.

The Laura Centre dedicates it’s time to offer support for adults, families and young people going through bereavement.

My family unfortunately suffered a huge loss when we were all at such a young age.

The Laura Centre was there to firstly give support, but also offer a safe place for us to go as well as offer advice, guidance & support to my mother.

To me this is a way of giving back to such a great charity, who certainly helped us in our time of need. There is no better way than putting myself through a bit of pain like running the London Marathon. I have always been into sport and exercise, and 4 years ago hung my rugby boots up to take up triathlons. I have completed several 70.3 distance triathlon’s, Olympic and sprint, but now want to turn my attention to completing my first ever marathon.

Your support no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way to helping other families who find themselves needing the amazing services of The Laura Centre just as we did.
