TCS London Marathon 2025 - In memory of Susan Margaret Forsyth
Jack Noble
My Story
We lost my beautiful mum, Susan, to pancreatic cancer in 2008 at the age of 54. She was a kind, loving, and vibrant woman, and having now spent almost as much time without her as I did with her, it felt like the right time to do something to honour her memory and support research into the cancer that took her from us far too soon.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. As is often the case, Mum's diagnosis came too late, and she died within three months of being diagnosed. This disease must be detected sooner. Thanks to the work of Pancreatic Cancer UK's dedicated team of researchers, a simple test to detect the cancer earlier is within reach—it just needs more funding.
I started running regularly during the COVID pandemic, and having completed the Hackney Half in 2023, I'm ready to take on this challenge. I know Mum would be really proud of me for this undertaking and would be so grateful for any contributions made.
Thank you to everyone in advance for your support.
