My Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

A career in the Armed Forces is unparalleled, often presenting unique challenges and experiences that many find difficult to comprehend.

Upon leaving the Armed Forces, it is vital that veterans have access to reliable support systems they can turn to in time of need.

Combat Stress, the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health provides this essential support. New data from the King's Centre for Military Health Research, King's College London and commissioned by the Office for Veterans' Affairs reveals the rate of PTSD in veterans deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in Combat Roles has risen to one in five. The demand for specialist support is outgrowing the services that can currently be provided and now more than ever, Combat Stress needs this support.

I feel incredibly priviledged to have the opportunity to play a part in supporting Combat Stress by securing a place in the London marathon 2025.

If you can, please support me to help make a real difference in the lives of veterans and help Combat Stress continue their vital work in ensuring no veteran is left to struggle alone.

Thank you for your support!

Combat Stress Overview >>>

We provide clinical treatment and support for veterans from the British Armed Forces, focusing on those with complex mental health issues resulting from their experiences during military service. When some military personnel leave service, their experiences can't easily be left behind. Without treatment, psychological trauma can eventually tear lives apart.

We believe military trauma shouldn't destroy lives of veterans and their families. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women with mental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading veterans' mental health charity, the work we do is life-changing and often life-saving, No one else does what we do. We provide the only intensive mental health treatment service to UK veterans. Our services are provided across the UK, in-person and online. At a time that can be isolating and daunting, we're here to help.
