Jasmine’s London Marathon Fundraising 🧡

My Story
In April 2025, I will lace up my running shoes, pin on my race bib, and (try to) run 26.2 miles through London. I am running the 2025 TCS London Marathon to raise vital funds for Children with Cancer UK, a charity who's vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer.
As the people close to me know, I have worked as a nurse on a children's oncology ward at Great Ormond Stret Hospital for the past 6 years. It is honestly the most rewarding job and I've met some amazing children and families going through a cancer diagnosis. Whilst running for the charity, I'll also be running for their bravery and resilience through such difficult circumstances.
Children with Cancer UK funds research, supports families and raises awareness of children's cancer. Their vision is for a world where every child and young person survives cancer, where every treatment is free of toxic side effects and where every child and young person gets the chance to grow up and live their life to the fullest.
I am probably the most unlikeliest person to be running the marathon out of all the people I know but I am determined to push myself and complete the biggest challenge of my life to date. It is for such a worthy cause and I would be so grateful if you can dig deep into your pockets and donate, big or small, to support a wonderful charity close to my heart.
Training starts ASAP as I have the stamina of a snail so I will post updates as I go along for the next 8 months!
