My Story

Hi,

My name is Jenna, mummy to Hugo and George (the dog) and partner to Christian.
I am a Children's Physiotherapist and so I have therapy and rehabilitation at the heart of everything that I do!

I will be running the London Marathon for the Children's Trust in 2025 as a celebration for my son Hugo and to pay thanks to the Children's Trust!!

In 2020 when the world was knee deep in a global pandemic Hugo suffered a traumatic head injury and acquired brain injury at the age of 14 months. As you can imagine this was an extremely turbulent time for us as a family and the years that have followed have been traumatic too as we navigate lots of unknowns.

Despite this Hugo is my absolute inspiration weathering many storms to be the strong and confident 5 year old he is today. As a family we will be forever grateful for the guidance the Children's Trust has provided as well as timely intervention when we have needed it the most.

Time to give back and so I would be extremely grateful if you could support me in my marathon journey by donating a few pennies to an absolute wonderful cause.

Every year 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness, with many not able to access the support they need.

The Children's Trust aim is to reach and support more children with brain injury and neurodisability to give them the best life possible. Donations will help The Children's Trust with their goal, allowing The Trust to provide specialist rehabilitation, education and community services across the UK.
