My Story

I'm running the 2025 London Marathon in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), the UK's leading sight loss charity and the largest community of blind and partially sighted people. Everyday 250 people begin to lose their sight in the UK. RNIB's focus is to create a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss.

I only started running seriously in July 2023 but seem to have caught the bug, and when I decided to run the London Marathon it felt like an eye charity was the obvious choice.

My dad has had deteriorating eye-sight for my whole life, to the point where he now struggles to see much at all. In 2010 I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour on my right retina which required surgery and radiotherapy, leaving me with limited vision in that eye.

The RNIB does some great work in supporting blind and partially sighted people and I'm excited to be taking on this amazing challenge in aid of this great charity.

Any support you can offer would be hugely appreciated.
