My Story

After losing my Dad unexpectedly in November 2022 and always wanting to raise money in his memory what could possibly be a better opportunity than getting a ballot entry into the London Marathon 2025 to raise money for Andy's Mans club! 👌🏻🏃‍♀️🙌🏼

Andy's Mans club is a men's suicide prevention charity and this charity is very close to my heart because my Dad was Infact a facilitator at one of the clubs in the Peterborough area.
Following my Dads passing so many Men who had attended the club reached out to me telling me how much my Dad helped them or infact saved their lives!
The time the facilitators put into this club is voluntary and is an amazing charity for Men's mental health.

After often saying to my Dad I would love to have a go at running a marathon he would say to me  "like the Nike Moto Jo "Just do it!✔️" so here I am running the London Marathon in 2025 and intend to give it my all!

I'm not blinkered to the fact that this isn't going to be at all easy along with the massive amount of training that will be required around my family and busy lifestyle....but this can only demonstrate my determination and resilience and my love for my dear Dad.

I would be beyond grateful to anyone that wishes to donate to my page to encourage me with all your support and fundraise for such an amazing charity!

Thank you so much!!

About us

The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.

Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.

What’s more, these participants have raised over a billion pounds for charity and there have been countless amazing tales of human achievement throughout the event’s history – living up to its aim of helping participants ‘to have fun, and provide some happiness and sense of achievement in a troubled world’.
