My Story

I'm running four marathons and doing a sprint triathlon in April 2025 to raise money for Helen and Douglas House. I ran the London Marathon for them last year and really wanted to do it again, but I thought that it wouldn't be right to ask people to sponsor me two years running for doing the same thing, so I have challenged myself to do four in a month - Brighton, Paris, Milton-Keynes and, finally, London. And I've added in the Radley Triathlon just for good measure.

I'm running for Helen & Douglas House in loving memory of Hemming Vramso, the son of two very dear friends - Haken and Katherine. Hemming was an absolutely wonderful little boy who tragically died of an aggressive brain tumour in October 2023 at the age of nine. Helen & Douglas House is a children's hospice located in Oxford, England that provides specialised care and support to terminally ill children and their families. They bring light in the darkest of times, as they did for Hakan, Katherine and Heming, and that is why I am fundraising for them.
